F.I.N.D.S. is a design blog run by Phoenix based Interior Designers Emily Leggett and Robin Leach-Bowling. The two met professionally while working at the same company designing kitchens and baths. The two became fast friends and have remained friends ever since. They have a similar design style, yet each of them brings their own unique take to each project. It is their love of and passion for anything design that has led them to create F.I.N.D.S. The site launched in August of 2013 and currently updates twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Both Emily and Robin hope to increase the frequency of updates as F.I.N.D.S. gains popularity.
F.I.N.D.S. co-founder Emily Leggett has a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Interior Design from The Art Institute of Phoenix and has been practicing design and honing her skills for the past 10 years. She has experience in many areas of interior design as well as furniture, fabric, and rug design. She began gaining experience working as a Design Technician assisting residential kitchen and bath designers while still in school. She was able to quickly work her way up to Lead Kitchen and Bath Designer before moving on to her next venture. Emily took an internship at a hospitality design firm to gain experience in hotel and restaurant design. She later became a Design Assistant and Interior Designer with the firm. She worked in the hospitality industry for several years before striking out on her own and starting Studio Em Interiors. Emily is currently creating fantastic residential interiors in Arizona and continuing to grow the Studio Em Interiors business. She hopes to one day add her own line of fabrics and furniture to the business.
Robin Leach-Bowling grew up on the East Coast and has a formal Fine Art foundation. She studied painting, drawing, and theory and when her interest was piqued by a past instructor she found a new passion, Interior Design. It was when Robin moved to Arizona that she took a job assisting other designers and has quickly worked her way up to a full-fledged Interior Designer. Since then Robin has been working in Residential Interior Design for eight years. She has experience with custom furniture design and lighting design. Her experience with furniture design and sales has led her to have incredible space planning abilities when laying out a room in residential interiors. Robin lives in the Phoenix area with her husband, son and three pugs.
