We hope you all had a wonderful holiday season and a great time ringing in the New Year! I know we did. It was nice to have some down time at the end of the year to spend time with family and friends and look back at 2014. Upon looking back you get to see all the accomplishments you made big and small and really appreciate all this past year has brought. We have had a lot of growth in our blog and our business and that has been fantastic. There are changes that have been made, new ideas to explore, and a slew of new goals set for 2015.
This month we are going to focus on all the new, all the changes, and getting started with improvements. Last year we took the month of January to get organized and to get in shape. If that is still something you need to do take a look at all of our tips from last January to get organized at home. If you are looking to get in shape, take a look at our workout log from last year. We used ours quite a bit (but not as much as we should have) and plan to print out a new one and try again this year.
To focus on the new, we plan to dive into lots of current and new design projects and share more of our work with you this year, the finished product and some behind the scenes peaks at what we do all day. We are making a few changes here at F.I.N.D.S. The first being that Robin Leach-Bowling is no longer with us as she has moved on to bigger and better things for her and her family and ventured into real estate. We plan to keep in contact with her and hopefully help some of the new homeowners she finds update their homes. It has been great working with her and we wish her the best. We plan to also introduce you to my other half, Noah Ehlert, who will be (and already does) help out with a lot of the projects we feature here on F.I.N.D.S. and some of the ideas. He is always ready to brainstorm ideas for the blog, read over posts, and be an extra set of hands during some of the DIY projects we complete around here. He has silently contributed a great deal around here this past year and it is time we gave him some credit.
This brings me to the improvements. We will be focusing on organizing our digital lives this month by offering tips and insight into all that needs to be done to keep up with all the profiles, pages, accounts, and emails that come with your online presence. To do this we will be taking each of our posts to offer tips, but to also introduce to all of you, our new and updated pages. We will be starting with our blog (where we will update our about page and introduce those I mentioned above) and move on to updating our Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, and Linked In accounts. All of this will lead up to the official launch of our website (FINALLY!) at the end of the month.
With that said, it is time to get to work as we have a lot of updating to do this month. Feel free to take a look at each of our pages (give us a like or a follow) and see what they look like now. Then check back to see the new and improved pages as they roll out this month!
